Every penultimate weekend of July, the MeMu Fest (Medieval Music Festival) takes place, offering an evocative medieval re-enactment that has been animating the historic town for several years. The main venue for the event is the picturesque Parco dei Settimo, which will be transformed into an authentic corner of the Middle Ages for the occasion.
The MeMu Fest celebrates medieval music and culture, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the past while being welcomed by locals dressed in period costumes. The atmosphere will be enhanced by the sound of drums, flag-wavers, medieval duels, craft markets, fireworks, and falconry shows. Of course, the food stands are a must, offering the opportunity to taste typical dishes of the time accompanied by a good hippocras, a drink made from wine and honey.
