Before booking at the Relais I did a lot of research about accommodation in the area as well as reading the reviews already posted.

This hotel proved to be far better - what an absolute beautiful hotel - small only seven rooms but the attention to detail in all aspects of the hotel are excellent, the customer orientation is superb and the restaurant whilst having a limited menu which changes every day is wonderful. An addtional benefit is that they are connected to a wonderful organic winery and not only are the wines from there superior but also happy to take you on a wine tour and taste the wines.

Location is excellent - close to major roads to Catania and also easy drives to some beautiful towns and beaches as well as if you want to eat out some lovely restaurants.

This is a must return to hotel and we will defintely be back - congratulations and thanks to all for making our visit so memorable

Nice small hotel within a working vineyard just outside of Ispica.

Stayed in the split level suite that had a kitchenette and own entrance which was nice especially for those evenings when we just wanted a light meal and not wanting to go out. The public areas are very nice and a great place to watch the sun go down and read a book with a nice glass of wine. The pool is very nice and large enough for a decent swim; plenty of loungers and with only 7 rooms, not very busy at all.

Whilst the dinner menu in the restaurant is good, it is very limited (two starters and two mains only) and if you are staying here a while (we stayed five nights) then it can be rather restricted and repetitive. Breakfast was a let down for us, with limited fresh fruit and not much choice. Service from all the staff was good and the front desk was very helpful in local knowledge.

Overall a nice stay on our 14 day fly drive around Sicily; would recommend

I have wanted to visit Torre Marabino for several years and had high expectations. It was good, but I was slightly disappointed as it didn't quite live up to the reviews I had read and it compared less well to other similarly priced hotels in Sicily. However, having said that, we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is served on a lovely terrace and is excellent, particularly if you like sweet things: the emphasis is on homemade pastries and cakes - all delicious. Our room was perfectly comfortable but a bit dark and the spiral staircase between the bedroom and sitting area a bit slippery. I wouldn't particularly recommend it. The pool beds are a bit uncomfortable/cheap for a hotel of this quality. Dinner was good, as was the wine list, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace, but the choice of dishes was limited (2 choices per course). I would recommend Torrre Marabino as a relaxing base from which to venture out to Noto, Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Vendicari nature reserve, Marzamemi etc. But best to go with lower expectations than I had.

So, so relaxing

We had a week here in the hottest weather imaginable. We stayed in the Don Pasquale room which was lovely and large with 2 big windows and the very necessary a/c. There was a small kitchenette area with fridge, tea & coffee making etc which was good for afternoon tea and keeping drinks cold. A small issue was the height of the wardrobe which was huge and I couldn't reach to hang clothes up but husband could so no big deal. Everything about the hotel was lovely, breakfast on the terrace with everything you could wish for and proper tea - a first in Sicily. It was exceptionally hot which didn't make you want to venture out much which was lovely as you could relax by the pool or in the gardens under the trees. We found it too hot to really appreciate the food at night so started having lunch, the chefs chicken salad was a joy and when I asked for an omelette it was no problem. The wines were wonderful. We didn't eat anywhere else. We went every afternoon late on to a bar in Pozzallo for a beer and gelado and a wander with the locals which was lovely. All the staff were amazing, friendly people who had been at the hotel a long time. They went out of their way to help you in any way. Well done to you all and thank you.

The highlight of our East-Sicilian tour! A place with character.

Location: Beautiful, isolated location just off the main Ispica road. We were only staying 2nts so didn’t leave the place!
Room: We had a suite on 2-floors. Originally our daughter was coming with us so the idea was she would have had downstairs, although the room was a bit dark. Perhaps put in some better lighting as it’s not as light as in the featured pictures, however the whole place had character. Suite had a Kitchenette and proper fridge – with ice!
Public areas: Lots of great places to sit and while away an hour or 2. Breakfast outside underneath the vines – what more could you want! And a good selection of the normal cheese, ham and pastries with chocolate cake to die for.
Restaurant: Outside with a lovely view. Very good lamb chops – so tender and we loved the pistachio dressing. Second night we didn’t fancy anything on the menu (there’s only a choice of a couple of mains) so we requested fillet steak which was duly delivered and delicious.
Pool: Outstanding – an oasis of calm, that is until a couple of families arrived with children & inflatables. The grounds are beautiful so we found ourselves a quiet spot…
Service: Excellent.
Value for money: Pricey but worth it. Perhaps upgrade the sun-loungers and make this an ‘adult-only’ hotel/children over 16yrs.

The gourmet dinner at Relais Torre Marabino, the overall service and food were excellent.
Every detail was made to perfection.
The fish and all perfectly cooked I really appreciated the tortelloni stuffed with fresh Bufala and Ricci. Simply divine.

Sunday afternoon by the pool and Jacuzzi was relaxing and peaceful. Couldn't ask for anything better.
Thank you so much... you've made my stay unforgettable. Without a doubt, I shall return.

This place was a great surprise to us. Absolutely enchanting. The service is friendly. There are only 7 rooms. The only downside is the arbitrary billing. After booking online, I got a call and price was renegotiated quite unfairly. The second incident happened at lunch. We gave liberty to the manager to prepare us lunch; we ended up billed for three antipasto and three main dishes per persons (including children). We ended up negotiating our bill. This is not what you expect from a four star.

Putting aside the financial incidents, the location is fantastic, the amenities beautiful and well maintained, the staff amazingly nice and friendly. I would be happy to return but will not shy from negotiating my bill

A fantastic experience!

Relais Torre Marabino is a lovely hotel with great service and facilities. We booked 2 of their 7 rooms and really felt relaxed and at home. The staff are all absolutely fantastic and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you enjoy your stay. The food is also wonderful with produce grown organically on the farm. The grounds/gardens are stunning, with also a great pool. The breakfast is one of the highlights of the stay!
