The most wonderful place

This small seven bed hotel was the not only beautifully appointed, but had the most wonderful staff. The building, grounds and rooms are all really well done. We stayed in Archimedes and our teenage girls in Don Paulo, both of which were huge rooms, with really handy little kitchenettes in their corners, and magnificent bathrooms. Both were totally quiet and peaceful, with very comfy beds and lovely toiletries.

The staff, especially Simona and her colleagues in reception, Eleanor who cooks/prepares breakfast and the young man who is sommelier/waiter were all incredibly friendly and helpful.

The cleaners and gardeners were obviously doing a great job, because the pool, gardens and room were all immaculate, and the cooks in the kitchen produced the most fantastic creations, changing daily, every evening. The whole place was just a total delight and we would thoroughly recommend it, not only to those planning to be in this SE part of Sicily, but also, when Ryan Air opens up their new flights to that region, for those wanting a long weekend away. It is the perfect centre for touring to Noto, Ragusa, the gorgeous Modica and Siracusa, and also, if you have children, has lots to divert them, not only with its pool and playground, but also nearby beaches.

Just back from our second visit to this fabulous gem and it was just as good second time round. The restored tower is set in lovely, manicured garden and the staff are really friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
The day gets off to a great start with a marvellous breakfast. As well as fruit, yogurt, ham, cheese etc.there are homemade cakes and flans, homemade marmalade and honey and some of the freshest croissants we've ever tasted.
The evening meals are magnificent, beautifully presented and you can accompany them with wines made on the premises. They even make their own olive oil, which is delicious

If you stay here it would be sacrilege not to at least go half board. the food is truly wonderful. a plus is that the hotel has comfortable spacious rooms and the staff are friendly and helpful. The wonderful dinners are presided over by Luigi and his assistant Margherita. Luigi is very knowledgeable of both food and the local wines which are excellent and reasonably priced. This was another Long Travel recommendation. They have certainly not let us down yet.

We booked a twin bedded room, but found none available on arrival all seven rooms have double beds, the staff had put a tiny single bed in our room to accomodate, but not quite the same. The hotel is very small set in farmland with a nice pool and outside area. The staff are attentive and very helpful, luigi is just the best he ran the bar and restaurant nothing was ever too much trouble. You really need aCar we found the Taxi very expensive, no bus service around the area. If you have a problem with stairs then this hotel is not for you, very steep stairs to all rooms.
The food is good but we found it a bit rich after a couple of days, but salads are available the young Chef whom we met is amazing. We had a late flight out but had to be out of our room by 10am which made it a very long day, with no where to shower or freshen up, but all in all it was enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a deluxe room, which was very spacious and even had a small, well-equipped kitchenette. We hadn't intended to eat here every night and only booked bed and breakfast, but the food was so varied, innovative and delicious that we found ourselves in the restaurant every evening. The gardens are lovely and very well looked after and the pool area is delightful too. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and we can't really think of anything which could be done to improve the property. It is located in fairly isolated quiet countryside and you have to be prepared to drive, unless you plan to chill out at the property for your whole stay, as there isn't anything nearby. However there are lots of amazing towns and good coastal areas within a short driving distance. We would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Had excellent stay here. Weather warm & sunny (part humid, part windy) so pool still in use. Very friendly staff, and very well maintained property and gardens. Large terrace facing the coast, perfect for pre- and post- dinner drinks. Second terrace area used for breakfast - which was excellent with fresh pastries (savoury and sweet), fruits, cheeses etc.. Dinners were consistently good, the chef has delicate touch with subtle flavours. Not cheap but you can freely choose which courses to have, according to appetite and purse. Large room with mezzanine, opened onto south terrace.

We stayed at Torre Marabino twice, once for our honeymoon back in October 2010 and recently in April 2013 and both visits were absolutely excellent. Simply there aren't enough superlatives to describe the place. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Food is extremely scrumptious. Setting is truly stunning. Room is great. Everything is simply exquisite. Our highlight in each visit is the restaurant and the 3-5 courses menu (depending on how much your stomach can take!). Of course, the wine selection is fabulous too, which makes this place is a diamond in the rough! Top tip: if you rent a car or have your own transport, go to the coast just further down south of Torre Marabino, about 5-10 minutes away driving. The beach there is absolutely lovely! Seeing is believing. I'll say no more, it's for you to prove it!

A veritable oasis in the middle of a busy agricultural area. It's the sort of place where you want to sit in the garden all day with a book and a glass of something cool. Both breakfast and dinner were very very good. As is the service. The location (in terms of proximity to attractions in the Southeast of Sicily) is perfect. Take the hotel's advice regarding beeches otherwise you spend whole chunks of time trying to find somewhere suitable.

A friend of mine and I stayed at this charming hotel, as a stop-over. Our wives and children had gone back home to Malta so it was just one night. The hotel is charming and offers most amenities. The whole property has really been done up well and clearly there has been a lot of attention to detail. The young lady hosting us was ever so helpful. I would definitely recommend

Stayed here for one night, awaiting the ferry back to Malta. The hotel is beautifully done up, unusual, but nonetheless expertly converted. The location is super; a few minutes drive from Ispica, but yet secluded from the main town. Very well kept amenities; rooms spacious, clean and very well kept; ample parking on site. Reception was very welcoming and helpful. Excellent value; would love to visit again.
